Weiler Corp. has developed a trimmable backing for its abrasive flap discs that allow more abrasive to be exposed, extending the life of the disc, and reducing grinding and finishing costs. The company says the new discs can be used in hard-to-reach areas, such as right angles and on irregular shapes, and are able to grind on-edge without changing tools.
