Rego-Fix (www.rego-fix.com) introduced a new line of tabletop presetters that the company says can be used on the shop floor. The Toolmaster TM10 presetters are tabletop units. With electronic parallel correction, operators can make quick, parallelism corrections at any time without mechanical adjustments. The tool taper rides on needle bearings, which allow debris and dust to pass through. Rego-Fix says that with the presetters' 2-percent taper contact, debris or scratches in the toolholder do not affect measurements.
